Glass clocks

These ship's clocks work on a battery, usually a normal Penlight (AA). However, we also sell glass clocks in Quartz and Mechanical version. They beat the glasses, a beat every half hour and after 4 hours and 8 strokes this starts again. In this way the sailors could hear in the dark galley when their service started again.

The mechanical version of each ship's clock must be wound once a week. These mechanical versions have also been carefully tested and assembled by hand.
