The Schatz Mechanical clock from the Midi 155 series is glass striking and has a chromed brass housing with porthole for easy access.

The dial is equipped with Roman numerals. 

This clock beats the so-called glasses, every half hours a blow and after 4 hour and 8 strokes starts this again. In the past the sailors could hear in the dark galley when their service started again.

This mechanical version must 1x per week be excited.
