To stop your boat on open water you can use an umbrella anchor. This is a relatively lightweight anchor with handy folding flows for small to medium-sized boats. Anchor and secure your boat securely with an umbrella anchor 

For a boat with a length between:

come á five meter is the umbrella anchor of 3,2 kg / 6 Kg ideal! 

zes to nine meter is an umbrella anchor of 6 kg / KG 8 before.
